Distribution Royalties (Master Royalties):
This is the money you earn from your music being played on platforms (Spotify, Deezer, YouTube, etc.). No share of distribution royalties via ONErpm, Symphonic, or similar services will be charged. You keep 100% of this.
Publishing / Composition Rights:
This is the money that comes from the recognition of the creation of the music itself (melody, harmony, or the sample used as a basis).
This is managed by publishers and collecting societies (such as UBC, Abramus, etc.). You need to share a small fraction with Hobb in case of a major placement.
